Are You Positioned for an Encounter with Jesus?

In Luke 19 we read about Zacchaeus, a wealthy tax collector who heard that Jesus would
be passing through his neighborhood. It would seem unlikely that Zacchaeus would go
to the extreme of climbing into a tree to be above the crowds so he could “see” Jesus.
Are you willing to go to extremes to see Jesus? Zacchaeus had to leave behind his pride
and reputation as a wealthy businessman to climb up into the tree. This leads me to
believe that he was determined to position himself for a meeting with Jesus as He passed
through his neighborhood.

Just like Jesus meets you and I today when we position our hearts to receive Him, Jesus
also met Zacchaeus that day. “Come down immediately. I must stay at your house
today.” Zacchaeus’ life was changed when he made the decision to leave his reputation
behind and pursue Jesus as salvation came to his whole house that day.

Jesus wants to meet you and I today in a way that will transform our lives and families.
Will you meet him by positioning yourself for a life changing encounter? You can be
sure that your life will never be the same, and just like Zacchaeus, you will gladly
welcome Him.
